Timeline

What xTool released, and when.

Buying a machine means buying its model year too. A machine that has been out for four years has accessories, spare parts and a thousand forum posts behind it; one from last week has none of that, but it has the newer head. This page shows where each machine sits in that line: when xTool introduced it, and whether you can still buy it new.

  • There are 4 years between the first machine and the newest: 2022 to 2026.
  • 10 of the 16 machines are here on site; we know the rest from advising on them.
  • One of them is no longer sold new by xTool.

The newest machine on the list and the only one xTool has yet to ship: introduced on 28 August 2026, European premiere two weeks later at IFA 2026 in Berlin. A shipping date will appear here once there is a source for one. We have had a test unit in Gedern since recently — nothing can be booked on it.

The station was never introduced as a machine of its own; it arrived as part of the xTool Retail Solution at Shoptalk Europe in Barcelona. That is why only the month is given: xTool never said which of the three fair days it was. Ours stands on the counter in Gedern.

What we have is the P2S, the revised version. The P2 before it looks the same and does almost the same, which is why both carry the same name on the machine card. The step between them is in extraction, acceleration and air assist.

The F1 was the first machine of this kind and the only one in this list that xTool no longer sells new — it is available refurbished only. xTool never named a date for that, so none is given here. The F2 is its successor. Ours in Gedern is still running, in day-to-day work, without demonstrations.

Where the dates come from

Every date on this page is a link, and the link goes to where it is stated — usually to the xTool press release itself, otherwise to the earliest report we could find. Anything documented only to the month is shown only to the month. A written-out day means, conversely, that the day is documented. Nothing is estimated: a gap is visible, an invented date is not.

xTool does not announce the end of a machine — it simply disappears from the shop. So there is usually no date for it, and we do not invent one. We record only that it has happened, once the shop stops listing the machine as new.
