What it actually takes up
The dimensions are the manufacturer figures. The clearance next to them is not: that is our own estimate from running these machines — room for workpieces beside it, for hose and cable behind it, and for the lid or your hands above it. That is the number no data sheet carries.

At a good 52 cm tall this is not a machine for a shelf. It needs an open worktop and a table that carries 21 kg without flexing. For the rotary axis and long workpieces, allow more side clearance than the figures here.

From our own workshop
Where this machine leaves the others behind is deep engraving — on metal, on stone, on wood. A three-dimensional engraving makes a completely different impression on a customer than a flat one, and not everyone can produce it. Add the colour engravings the MOPA source makes possible, and you have something you can show off across the counter. And the plainest application of all: nameplates. What it puts into the metal stays legible for good — for permanent marking it is the machine of choice here.
