Two of the seven machines in Gedern: the F2 Ultra UV in front, the F2 Ultra behind. Our own photo from the shop, not a press shot.
  • 7 machines to demonstrate Diode, CO₂, fibre, MOPA, UV and printing, spread across shop and workshop, every one of them in real use.
  • 2 locations of our own A retail shop and a production workshop, one business under two names. The machines have to prove themselves in both.
  • 1 piece minimum order We produce from a batch size of one ourselves. That is why we know the setup times, not just the data sheets.

Why us of all people

The machines are not in a shop window.
They are in production.

Anyone can put a showroom together. We work at two locations that depend on exactly these machines: a retail shop in Gedern and a contract workshop in Hirzenhain, both under one business. What we recommend to you, we paid for and used first.

Lasers in front of customers

Regionalladen Gedern

Here the machines run in front of customers. Engraving on glass, wood and slate, textile printing, personalised gifts, while somebody stands next to you and waits. If you want to know whether a laser really holds up in retail, this is the place.

Props, prototypes and merchandise for magicians and entertainers, from a batch size of 1. Tight tolerances, unusual materials, short deadlines. If you are planning batch work, precise fits or special materials, look at the machines here.

Too far away?

Then by video, wherever you are.

We put the camera on the machine: you see the same workpiece, the same settings and the same failed attempts as on site. Bookable through the same xTool demo system, same length, same price: none. What video cannot do is let you touch your material — so we tell you up front when the drive is worth it anyway.

The machines

Seven xTool machines to demonstrate, two addresses.

Diode, CO₂, fibre, MOPA, UV and direct printing, but not lined up in a showroom. They stand where they work every day: in the shop in Gedern and in the workshop in Hirzenhain. Which location your appointment goes to depends on the machine you pick when booking. One hour, one machine, your material.

A view into the demo room in Gedern: on the left, on a sideboard, the xTool F1 with a white fume filter; in the background the xTool F2 Ultra UV with its orange screen, and a heat press beside it.
The whole room in one picture. Two sideboards, a radiator between them, one window — it needs no more than that, and it is no more than that.

Note What we demonstrate is the identical predecessor P2, which stands in the Hirzenhain workshop. For cut quality, format and handling it is a sound reference, and the differences to the current P2S are marginal. The price quoted is the P2S price.

Note UV print sits on the object, not in it. For drinking vessels, tableware and anything that goes in the dishwasher or touches food we deliberately do not demonstrate it, because engraving is the durable answer there. Its strengths are housings, signs, cases and promotional items.

Narrowing it down

Three questions before you compare a single price.

The most expensive mistake when buying a laser is not the wrong budget, it is the wrong technology. This will not replace an appointment, but it tells you what we need to talk about at one.

What do you need the machine for?

Question 1 of 3

What do you need the machine for?

The most common bad purchase starts here, not at the wattage.

How an appointment runs

Four steps. No presentation.

  1. 01

    Book the appointment

Through the official xTool demo system. You pick the machine and the slot, and the request comes straight to us. On site or by video runs through the same form.

  2. 02

    Machine and location are set

When you book you choose the machine, and with it the location where that machine stands. For a video appointment the journey falls away, the machine stays the same. An appointment runs one hour and belongs to that one machine. For a second one, book the following slot.

  3. 03

    Your part, not our sample

Bring your material and your file. We run what you actually want to sell, not the demo piece that always works.

  4. 04

A number and a quote to take home

What does the part cost you to make, and at what volume does the machine pay for itself? If you want one, you get a quote with it, even when the honest answer is that you should wait.

Who advises you

„I do not sell a machine I have not operated myself on a Friday evening under time pressure.“
Sascha Pfeuffer in a black xTool shirt with an IFA lanyard at the xTool booth at IFA 2026 in Berlin, a wall of colourful material samples and workstations with machines behind him.
At the xTool booth at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The shirt is not merchandise: we demonstrate these machines where xTool shows them itself — and spend five days hearing the questions that come up again at a demo appointment.
Sascha Pfeuffer Key Moments · Regionalladen Gedern

My business has two sides: a workshop that builds props and merchandise for magicians and entertainers, and a regional shop where things are personalised while the customer stands next to you. Both live off the same machines.

That is why I know the questions a brochure never covers. How loud is the machine when someone is shopping in the room? How long does the change from wood to stainless steel really take? What happens when the file is badly prepared and the customer is back in ten minutes?

At a demo appointment you get answers from the shop floor, including the cases where the answer is: do not buy the machine yet.

What you can expect

Six commitments we can actually keep.

01

We sell what we run ourselves

Every recommendation comes out of day-to-day work. We know which machine becomes irritating after the third material change and which one still focuses cleanly after two years.

02

A quote yes, sales pressure no

We do not sell the machines ourselves, you buy directly from xTool. If you want, we will still put a quote together at the appointment, one that undercuts the best xTool online price by one per cent. You sign nothing with us.

03

Arithmetic instead of enthusiasm

We talk about cycle times, material costs, scrap and extraction. Those are the numbers that matter after the purchase, not the wattage on the box.

04

Extraction belongs in the quote

A laser without filtration is not an option in a retail space. That is why our SafetyPro AP2 runs in Gedern during business hours and appears in every calculation.

05

Still reachable after the sale

Same number, same people. When a setting misbehaves or a material fights back, you are calling someone who operates the machine themselves.

06

Two perspectives on the same machine

Retail and contract manufacturing place completely different demands on a machine. We know both sides and we tell you which one we are arguing from.

Live on YouTube

Unedited, including the parts that go wrong.

At irregular intervals we stream on the official German xTool channel. Not an advert: we work on real parts, and when a setting goes wrong, you see it.

Currently offline

As soon as we go on air the stream runs right here. No account, no sign-up.

Common questions

What people usually ask before the appointment.

What does a demo appointment cost?

Nothing. The appointment is free and without obligation. There is no cost to you even if you decide against a machine afterwards.

Which machines can I really test on site?

Seven, split across two locations. In the Regionalladen Gedern we demonstrate the F2 Ultra, F2 Ultra UV, the O1 Omni Printer and the SafetyPro AP2 extraction unit. In the Key Moments workshop in Hirzenhain, the F2, M2 and P2. Together they cover diode, CO₂, fibre, MOPA, UV and direct printing, but not in one room. For CO₂ we demonstrate the P2; what is sold is the current P2S, which differs only marginally. Gedern also houses three machines you cannot book an appointment on. The first is a discontinued F1 that marks our slate; we do not demonstrate it, its counterpart in the range is the F2. The second is the Self-Service Kiosk our customers design at — that one we do show, it simply does not appear as a machine in the xTool demo system. Book the O1 Omni or the F2 Ultra UV, which it drives directly, and mention it when you book. The third is a test unit of the X1: introduced, but not on sale yet, which is why it can be neither booked nor priced. For machines that are not on site at all we place them honestly against the ones we do have. We do not pretend to stock everything.

How long does the appointment take?

A demo appointment is planned for one hour, for the machine you select when booking. If you want to see several machines, please book two consecutive appointments, one slot per machine. That is more honest than an hour in which we only skim three machines.

Can I bring my own material and files?

Yes, emphatically, that is the entire point. Bring the material you actually want to process and a file as SVG, PDF, AI, DXF or a high-resolution image. We prepare it on site and run it.

Where does the appointment take place?

The machine you select when booking decides. The F2 Ultra, F2 Ultra UV, O1 Omni and the SafetyPro AP2 are in the Regionalladen Gedern, Schlossberg 9, where they run in front of customers, along with the discontinued F1, the Self-Service Kiosk and our X1 test unit — none of the three is bookable, but all stand right there during a Gedern appointment. The F2, M2 and P2 are in the Key Moments workshop in Hirzenhain, Auf der Eich 7. If you are unsure which machine is right for you, give us a quick call first.

Do I have to decide at the appointment?

No. You get a recommendation and, if you want, a calculation to take away. On request we add a quote that undercuts the best xTool online price by one per cent. You then buy directly from xTool. You sign nothing with us, and the rest happens at your own pace.

I am a complete beginner. Am I in the right place?

Yes. A good share of appointments end with the advice to start smaller than planned. We also show you what finishing, extraction and software really add to the job. Almost everyone underestimates that.

Ask first, book later

Not ready to book? Then just ask.

A booking is binding, a question is not. Tell us what you are planning and we will say whether a demo is worth your time — including when the answer is no. We usually reply within one working day.

Image or PDF, up to 10 MB per file. Your workpiece, your drawing, or the corner the machine is meant to stand in.

This is a question, not yet a booking. If you already know which machine you want to see, booking is quicker.
