Seven, split across two locations. In the Regionalladen Gedern we demonstrate the F2 Ultra, F2 Ultra UV, the O1 Omni Printer and the SafetyPro AP2 extraction unit. In the Key Moments workshop in Hirzenhain, the F2, M2 and P2. Together they cover diode, CO₂, fibre, MOPA, UV and direct printing, but not in one room. For CO₂ we demonstrate the P2; what is sold is the current P2S, which differs only marginally. Gedern also houses three machines you cannot book an appointment on. The first is a discontinued F1 that marks our slate; we do not demonstrate it, its counterpart in the range is the F2. The second is the Self-Service Kiosk our customers design at — that one we do show, it simply does not appear as a machine in the xTool demo system. Book the O1 Omni or the F2 Ultra UV, which it drives directly, and mention it when you book. The third is a test unit of the X1: introduced, but not on sale yet, which is why it can be neither booked nor priced. For machines that are not on site at all we place them honestly against the ones we do have. We do not pretend to stock everything.

A demo appointment is planned for one hour, for the machine you select when booking. If you want to see several machines, please book two consecutive appointments, one slot per machine. That is more honest than an hour in which we only skim three machines.

Yes, emphatically, that is the entire point. Bring the material you actually want to process and a file as SVG, PDF, AI, DXF or a high-resolution image. We prepare it on site and run it.

The machine you select when booking decides. The F2 Ultra, F2 Ultra UV, O1 Omni and the SafetyPro AP2 are in the Regionalladen Gedern, Schlossberg 9, where they run in front of customers, along with the discontinued F1, the Self-Service Kiosk and our X1 test unit — none of the three is bookable, but all stand right there during a Gedern appointment. The F2, M2 and P2 are in the Key Moments workshop in Hirzenhain, Auf der Eich 7. If you are unsure which machine is right for you, give us a quick call first.

No. You get a recommendation and, if you want, a calculation to take away. On request we add a quote that undercuts the best xTool online price by one per cent. You then buy directly from xTool. You sign nothing with us, and the rest happens at your own pace.

Yes. A good share of appointments end with the advice to start smaller than planned. We also show you what finishing, extraction and software really add to the job. Almost everyone underestimates that.

For operation in a retail space, in a flat, or in any room where people spend the day: yes. A hose out of the window is rarely a lasting solution. We demonstrate the SafetyPro AP2 in Gedern in normal operation so you can judge the noise level and the space it takes before you buy.

More than the data sheet says. Every machine card therefore carries three figures: the manufacturer dimensions, the footprint in use including clearance for operation, hose and lid, and the area with extraction beside it. On the F2 the extraction unit is larger than the laser itself; on the P2 you need a metre of table width plus room above for the lid. Bring a photo of the corner the machine is meant to go in and we will settle it on site in five minutes.

We do not sell them ourselves, the purchase runs directly through xTool. Then book the appointment by video — same system, wherever you are. You see the machine running, we hold the camera to the workpiece, and the hour is yours just as it would be on site. If you would rather come anyway: tell us in advance where you are driving from and we will put the appointment in a quiet slot where we can. Watch the location, Gedern and Hirzenhain are two different addresses — to see machines from both you need two appointments.

Almost everything an on-site appointment does: we run your artwork on our material, you watch the preparation in the software, the result under the lamp, and you hear how loud the machine is while it works. What it cannot do is put the finished part in your hand — engraving depth, edge quality and feel are harder to judge on a screen. Wherever surface is what decides, we say so and recommend the drive. For the question of whether a machine handles your quantity, video is just as good.

Yes. Appointments, advice and documents are available in German and in English. Just let us know when booking which language you would like the appointment in.
