From our own workshop
This is the laser I like working with most. At a 0.02 mm² spot size it produces the finest engravings of anything we own, and it is remarkably versatile with it. Two things it asks for in return. The focus has to be exact, more so than on any other machine here. And it does not want to stand in the sun: direct sunlight can trip its internal fire detection, which aborts the running job mid-part with no way to resume it. In exchange it is the only one that does engravings inside glass — and the only one that engraves glass with no masking beforehand, giving a clear result instead of the frosted look you get from other lasers. And it puts tiny Data Matrix codes to GS1 standard onto anodised aluminium — exactly the case that fine spot size is there for.
